Abrams, quien cuenta en su filmograf\u00eda con la resurrecci\u00f3n de otra franquicia espacial, Star Trek.<\/p>\n<p>Michael Arndt, ganador del Oscar por &#8220;Little Miss Sunshine&#8221;, fue el encargado de escribir el primer borrador del gui\u00f3n, el cual fue revisado posteriormente por Abrams y Lawrence Kasdan.<\/p>\n<p>El elenco lo conforman veteranos de la franquicia como Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew y Kenny Baker.
